Picnics in the Park
Picnics in the Park and some Coffee Catchup mornings run by PCCA were a great way to bring the community together providing opportunites for both our younger and older families to enjoy time with neighbours.
These were especially important before our playgrounds existed and before our Coffee Shops were open. We were delighted to receive a small grant from the City of Cockburn and the support of Woolworths to undertake these events.
The grant allowed us to purchase play-games that we could re-use on other occasions.
Lucreatia Park Playground
After 3 years of work the opening of Lucretia Park was a great achievement for PCCA with the input of dedicated residents and the City of Cockburn.
The park provides a wonderful book-end to the northern-end children’s park at MacQuatha Close.
Lucretia Park represented a challenge due to the water tanks that are located under the park and it was decided to make this a special little park on the lower level for our smallest residents.
A new sunsail will be added shortly.
Christmas Festival Joy
Each year PCCA plays a special role at the Christmas Festival which is supported by Frasers Property and the City of Cockburn.
2021 saw the first year of our Giant Christmas Stocking Raffle - and with generous support from local businesses it it was GIANT indeed.
Santa thrilled the children with his visit along with magic Regis elves with their goodies to hand out. Faces were adorned with paint and glitter by the amazing Santa's Helpers and Ranger Red never fails to impress with his collection of feathered, furry and scaly animals.
