PCCA has a dedicated Events Committee of wonderful volunteers supported by Frasers Property. We apply for grants from City of Cockburn and are well supported by local businesses making every event an opportunity to enjoy some hospitality and meet and discuss issues with neighbours. Much of our work is done quietly behind the scenes as we lobby and negotiate on issues that affect our community. We are active on matters such as -- Safety and Security – monitoring of crime statistics- Liaison with Co-safe and WAPOL- Landscaping issues and shelter upgrades- Playground upgrades- Protection of the Omeo Wreck and dive trail- Traffic and parking - Future Bike Paths- Future Powerstation development- Westport community engagement- Name change to Port Coogee
