OUR HISTORY
Brought together in 2018, Port Coogee Community Association Inc (PCCA) was created by local residents. Since then the Port Coogee Committee Association has grown in numbers and is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and connected community. Comprising passionate local residents and stakeholders, the association works collaboratively to enhance the quality of life in Port Coogee through various initiatives and events.
By prioritising community engagement, environmental sustainability, and local development, the association aims to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all residents and visitors. Together, we celebrate our unique coastal lifestyle and strive to make Port Coogee a better place for everyone.
The Port Coogee Committee Association collaborates closely with The City of Cockburn to address community needs and drive positive change in the area. This partnership enables the association to voice local concerns, advocate for community-driven projects, and ensure that the interests of Port Coogee residents are represented in council decisions.
Through regular meetings and open communication, the committee works hand-in-hand with council representatives to develop initiatives that enhance public spaces, promote sustainability, and support local businesses. Together, they tackle issues such as infrastructure improvements, environmental conservation, and community events, all aimed at fostering a vibrant, safe, and welcoming environment.
By leveraging the resources and expertise of the Cockburn Council, the Port Coogee Committee Association strives to create lasting impacts that benefit the entire community, ensuring that Port Coogee remains a beloved coastal haven for years to come.
